Stacey Kidder

MSW, LCSW

For over 20 years, I’ve been honored to help individuals, couples, and families work through life’s challenges and discover healthier, more fulfilling ways of living. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I bring both professional expertise and a compassionate approach to every session, focusing on supporting clients as they build confidence, resilience, and a renewed sense of well-being.

Before beginning my counseling career, I taught martial arts as a nationally certified Third Degree Black Belt Instructor. I went on to become a Licensed Therapist with a private practice while being an adjunct professor at LSU. I enjoy spending time with my 3 adult children, my 5 grandchildren, and my dog Caesar who is a registered support canine. These experiences deepened my belief in discipline, balance, and personal growth which are values I continue to bring into my work with clients today.

For more than 45 years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside individuals and couples as they navigate life’s challenges. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, and Clinical Pastoral Counselor, my focus is always on providing care that is compassionate, practical, and rooted in experience.

I work with adults facing depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, life transitions, and relationship struggles, offering a safe space where healing and growth can take place. My training spans across respected universities in the U.S. and abroad, but what matters most is my commitment to showing up with sincerity, warmth, and clinical skill.
